a minimalist lifestyle -- where should I begin?


there are no steps/rules to follow if you want to become a minimalist. 

to become a minimalist, i thought about the aspects of my life that i needed to declutter. 


what i did from the beginning of my journey until now: accept minimalism and reject consumerism, clean my closet, make my own all-natural toiletries, change my diet, edit what's in my backpack, declutter my laptop and social media sites, digitise my life, clean every room from my bathroom to my kitchen, fix my desk, choose 150 items to own, and write about reflections on life (happiness, toxic friendships, anger, etc.)

i switched to a more natural lifestyle to avoid spending on commercial products. after reading about all the terrible substances in toothpaste, soap, shampoo, etc., i decided to make all of my own toiletries. my rule is "if you can't eat it, don't put it on your body"! if you want to know how to make the toiletries i make, my diy posts are for you!
